So I asked all my parental friends to bring themselves and their kids
to the roller rink to celebrate my 40th birthday. Fun!

Yes, it was retro-dorky, yes, it was creepy to be in the mix with gypsies, tramps,
and theieves (with Goody combs in their back pockets...) BUT it was a lot of fun.
This must be shocking to those of you who haven't seen me for a few decades,
since this was the first birthday party I didn't have a hangover from in 25 years.
Some good to be said about maturity, yes?

So me and the daughter, Malaren....

Jen (Malaren's mom, my ex) and friend Barb got some face time.

Me andTom, cruizin' (I'm not gay. Tom isn't either. We're not gay. It just ... kinda looks like it..)

Me and Tom, not gay.

Not ... gay. C'mon, they were playing ABBA and I actually danced dicso in the 70s.

Jazz fingers!

Momma and Malaren.
